I’m not sure I did so at the time but just wanted to thank you for the excellent operation you performed on my so misshapen feet. I’d had so much discomfort and pain over the previous five years and was finding it difficult to find shoes that were comfortable and could even fit my feet. I did and still do a lot of sport and I was extremely worried about whether I’d be able to post operation.

The operation went smoothly and you were present at all the follow up appointments and I was delighted to be able to climb Macchu Piccu with no problems the following April after my double bunionectomy at the end of October and I was back running, cycling and playing tennis up to my usual standards ( admittedly low), soon after that.

I did much research before having the operation to find someone highly competent, found you and am so pleased I did.

Following two consultations in 2008 with different surgeons for problems with the alignment of my right foot, l was finally referred to Mr Kankate.  I was told that I required specialist podiatry attention, and Mr Kankate was confident that he could reconstruct my foot to resolve many years of deformity and pain.  He is a very pleasant communicator, and made sure personally, to follow up after the procedure, which I have to say was amazing.  Not only did he rectify the deformities, the outcome has been that I’m completely pain free, and now have an attractive foot.
